Background & Experience
Peggy Moulder is a licensed realtor and member of the Toronto Real Estate Board. She was born and raised in Bermuda, and after high-school worked in administration with Bermuda financial institutions and with the United Nations (UNIDO) in Vienna, Austria. In 1989, Peggy moved to Toronto and studied Civil Engineering topics at Ryerson University. In 1992, she was elected to the Advisory Board of her building (high-rise) of residence and was later hired as Property Manager. Peggy oversaw $1.1 million in capital upgrade expenditures and prepared and managed an annual operating budget of $1.5 million, which came in on budget each year, while owners’ monthly contributions were reduced. She has a diploma in Paralegal studies. Peggy’s skills are in general management and practical problem solving for others. She moved to Mimico in 2003, and has been a member of the Lakeshore Planning Council for the past three years. The Lakeshore Planning Council is a local residents’ association created in 1990 which promotes public participation in the planning process. Peggy’s goal is to implement Community Board Districts for Toronto to ensure inclusive public consultation and better management of municipal public assets.
